With so many brands of performance lights in the market, TYC makes a loud splash to stand out. TYC was the first company to think out of the box in making performance lamps. Being an OE supplier for major automotive manufactures in Asia and the U.S., TYC believed that they could do better, so they started fiddling around in the performance aftermarket lighting, aka ‘altezzas’ or ‘euro lights.’ With TYC in the performance market and innovating beyond the traditional designs, TYC gave birth to the Elegante brand.

TYC started to get a hold on the market first with the lens built into the housings to incorporate a one piece clean design similar to our 00-05 Toyota Celica rear lamps. After a few more years TYC found that there was a need to step it up so they conjured up a completely innovative idea that is currently used by most manufactures in the industry: have the lenses ‘pop out’ of the normal lamp housings. This can be seen in TYC’s 98-02 Honda Accord Sedan, and also the 02-05 Acura RSX rear lamps that swept the market in 2001.

Now it’s 2005, and a new trend is amongst us: LED. TYC has embraced this new technology trend by incorporating the best LED in the market housed in the 03-05 Honda Accord Coupe rear lamps. TYC is currently using different types of reflectors as you can see in the Accord application, and also in the exclusively sold Scion lamps. More innovative designs will be developed in the near future for popular car and truck applications.

Being one of the few manufacturers that is QS9000/ISO9001 certified and make 100% street legal lamps, TYC has set the industry standard.
